Age, visible corrosion, leaks, a failed bund, or changing requirements (an extension, a new outbuilding, more hot water demand) can all make replacement the sensible choice. We assess the existing setup and discuss the practical route before work is booked in — a leaking or failing tank is a genuine environmental and safety risk, not just an inconvenience.
Plan the installation properly
Access, position relative to the property and boundary, whether a bunded (double-skinned) tank is required, the existing oil supply pipework and the property itself all matter. We talk through these points so the job is scoped properly at the start, not adjusted on the day.

The tank is only one part of an oil-fired system. We also install and service oil boilers, service Aga and Rayburn range cookers, and carry out fuel polishing in-house to remove water and sludge from heating oil. If more than one part of the system needs work, we can plan it as one job rather than three separate visits.

We service and repair Aga and Rayburn range cookers on oil, gas and LPG. A range cooker that runs most of the day needs regular attention to burn cleanly and safely, so we check the burner, flue, controls and seals and tell you plainly what we find.
