What we see most
Most call-outs come down to a handful of problems: no heat or no hot water, a boiler that keeps losing pressure, banging or gurgling from the pipework, the ignition or pilot light cutting out, or a boiler that fires up and then locks itself out. Tell us which one you are seeing when you call and we will already have a good idea what we are walking into before we arrive.
Repair before replacement
We will not tell you to replace a boiler just because it has reached a certain age. If it is cheaper to fix, we will fix it, and we will tell you straight if it is not. We have fixed boilers other companies had already written off, for far less, and they are still running fine. That is the promise: whatever is best for you financially, not for us.

Servicing that heads off the next breakdown
Plenty of the faults we're called out to could have been caught at an annual service. We service gas, oil and LPG boilers, checking the burner, flue, seals, safety devices and pressure properly, and we'll tell you plainly if anything needs attention. If your boiler hasn't been serviced in the last year, book it in before the cold weather does it for you.
What to tell us when you call
Tell us the make and model if you know it, what the boiler is doing, whether you have lost heating, hot water or both, and your area. That is enough for us to work out what we are likely dealing with before we are even on site.
